Before becoming an RMT, Jeremy worked as a Dementia Unit Coordinator. During the free time he had, Jeremy was involved in competitive basketball, hockey, tennis, and softball leagues around Vancouver. His body unfortunately could not keep up with the physical demands of all his sports, which lead to various injuries. However, those injuries put him through a path of sports rehabilitation which landed him where he is today! It wasn’t long after Jeremy first started seeing a Registered Massage Therapist before he knew that a career in massage therapy was for him. Jeremy has always extended a helping hand to those in most need of it. He graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy’s 3000 hour program. In addition to his passion of helping people of all athletic levels meet, maintain, and excel at their performance goals, it is important to him to work with a wide variety of patients with an array of treatment needs to maintain their activities of daily living. Jeremy’s style of Registered Massage Therapy is to not only treat patient’s symptoms, but he takes the time to learn about them, their habits and history, to try to figure out the root of the cause. He also teaches home care stretches and exercises, as well as preventative measures to maximize the effectiveness of the treatment and to minimize the chances of re-injury.
